Built to Last

Why Leather Is the Ultimate Investment for Your Home

Not every material needs decades to earn its character. Synthetic leather skips the waiting entirely, offering the look and feel of hide from the moment it leaves the factory, without the price tag, the upkeep, or the ethical question marks that come with the real thing. It's become one of the smartest materials in modern interior design, not because it pretends to be something it isn't, but because it's gotten remarkably good at being exactly what it is.

The Definition of Synthetic Leather

Synthetic leather, also called faux leather, vegan leather, or pleather, is a manmade material engineered to mimic the look and texture of animal hide. Instead of tanning skin, manufacturers build the material up in layers, typically a fabric backing coated with a flexible polymer that’s textured and finished to resemble leather’s grain.

Taking modern synthetic textiles a step further, our Stellar collection introduces an advanced high-performance composition consisting of 60% silicone and 40% polyester.

Caring for Synthetic Leather

Wipe it down regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, no special cleaners or conditioners required. Avoid direct, prolonged heat or sunlight, which can cause cheaper synthetics to soften, discolor, or crack over time. Skip harsh solvents or alcohol-based cleaners, since these can damage the polymer coating. And keep sharp objects away from the surface, since unlike fabric, a tear or puncture in synthetic leather can’t really be repaired invisibly.
