With a career path spanning from legal to business, Vikesh Nanwani, President Director of PT Amardeep Indo Sakti, is willing to go above and beyond to ensure his family’s legacy continues to thrive in the face of adversity and modernism.

After completing his education at the University of Edinburgh, Vikesh returned to Indonesia to work alongside his father and brother. Their shared ambition has since propelled their family-run business to the forefront of the home fabrics industry.

Vikesh’s innovative approach to the otherwise traditional sector has made a significant impact. He recently launched a range of fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles, thus introducing sustainable materials into the market. His ability to identify gaps in the Indonesian market also led to the creation of Kreyo, a homegrown fabric brand that has quickly gained recognition.

Another defining moment for Vikesh came during the pandemic in 2020. At the time, facing the crisis meant adopting new technologies and devising a more efficient workflow system to accommodate remote working and other situational restraints. Although it was one of the greatest challenges he ever faced, Vikesh’s agile response successfully helped the company power through.

Beyond business, family remains Vikesh’s top priority. His greatest accomplishment is not measured in corporate terms but in the pride and joy he finds in his wife and two children. He tries to spend as much of his precious time with his children. Clearly, for Vikesh, family is a major driving force behind his personal and professional success.
